Plein Air
First time painting plein air took place on the Paint-L "Paint the Aspens" trip October 2005 in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona.

First ever plein air painting, acrylic on canvas, 8" x 10"	Improved version after critique by fellow artist.
Second plein air painting, same day, this one in oils, 8" x 10"	After touchups at the house.
Third plein air, 9" x 12" acrylic, following day at sunset on Hawley Lake. The light changed so fast my brush couldn't keep up. This photo was taken after I refined it later.	And here I am, trying my best to capture the majestic scene in front of me....
