These images are commissions for the new Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Richardson, Texas, opened May, 2001 The originals of this project were painted 24" x 24" acrylic on paper. These were scanned and digitized. The pieces in the hotel are giclee on canvas reproductions, with sizes starting at 42" x 42". 	"Pecos 2" This is my favorite of the series, and the second one I painted. The whole "Glorieta" series was painted in New Mexico. I had carpet and fabric samples, so I knew the palette, but I really think it helped for me to be in the color-saturated Southwest as I worked.
