October 2005 - Artists of Paint-L go to Hawley Lake

This photo was taken early morning on Hawley Lake in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona. I had no idea that this type of landscape existed in AZ.  We gathered in cabins and motor homes on the lake, and stayed for a week painting outdoors. The event culminated in a reception and show at Joyous Lake Studio and Gallery owned by Paint-eller Gwen Pentecost. Participating artists included Dave Becker, Margot Comstock, Helen Newman, Nancy Herkert, Elin Pendleton, Gwen Pentecost, Suzanne Ferguson, Kaye Smith, Chris Blom, Colette, and me, Robin Ann Walker.
